An Exposition of I Peter chapter 1
Preface
These addresses have never been preached from a pulpit. They are
intended to be read. They constitute biblical and expository writing.
Expository ministry today seems to go against all preaching trends
but I believe that the pulpit must come back to this if it is to
recover its former glory in the edification of God's people
throughout the Church.
Many believe that the pulpit has had its day but that is not a
scriptural viewpoint. Evangelistic and expository preaching is the
'foolish' means by which God has ordained to 'save them that believe'.
